　Web版「1Password.com」がYubiKeyやFeitianなどのU2Fセキュリティキーをサポートしたと発表しています。詳細は以下から。

　パスワード管理アプリ＆サービスを提供しているカナダのAgileBitsは現地時間2019年06月11日、同社が提供しているクラウドベースのパスワード管理サービス「1Password.com」で、WebAuthn APIを利用した「Universal 2nd Factor (以下、U2F)」準拠のUSBセキュリティキーなどをサポートしたと発表しています。

Today, I’m happy to announce a new option: we now offer support for Universal 2nd Factor (U2F)-compatible security keys. This is done via the new WebAuthn API, and we’re excited to be among the first services to adopt this new browser standard. WebAuthn is backwards-compatible with U2F, so all certified U2F security keys will work with our WebAuthn-enabled flow.

　U2Fセキュリティキーは現在GoogleやFacebook, Twitter, GitHub, Dropbox, Dashlanなどの2ファクタ認証用キーとして利用可能ですが、最新の1Password.comでもChromeやFirefox、Opera、EdgeなどWebAuthn APIサポートブラウザで以下の2ファクタ認証設定ページからセキュリティキーを登録することで、2ファクタ認証用のセキュリティキーとして利用することができます。

Safari v13

　現在公開されているSafari v12.xではWebAuthn APIが実験的にサポートされていますが、AppleはWWDC 2019のセッション516「What’s New in Authentication」でmacOS 10.15 Catalina搭載のSafari v13がFIDO2準拠のセキュリティキーをサポートすると発表しているので、興味のある方はYubikeyやFeitian Keyを試してみてください。

YubikeyおよびFeitian KeyはAmazonで4,000~8,000円ほどで購入可能で、Safari Technology Preview v84ではYubikeyおよびFeitian Keyともに利用可能でした。ちなみに、Bluetoothタイプの「MultiPass FIDO Security key (K13)」は脆弱性が発見されリコールになっています。
