　iPadをセカンドディスプレイ化できる「Luna Display」の出荷が開始されたそうです。詳細は以下から。

　Luna DisplayはiPadにMacの画面を映し出し液晶タブレット化できるiPhone/iPad用アプリ「Astropad」シリーズを開発しているAstro HQが2017年07月にクラウドファンディングサイトKickstaterで資金を募り開発が進んでいるドングルで、MacのUSB-C(DP Alt Mode)やMini DisplayPortに接続することで、MacのGPU性能を引き出し(cf.fit-Headless)、iPad上に表示されるMacの画面のパフォーマンスを引き上げることができますが、このLuna Displayの出荷が始まったようです。

　現在出荷されたのはこれまで不具合の確認されてこなかったUSB-C版のドングル 500ユニットで、7月上旬から徐々に生産数を増やし、Early Bird, Kickstarter Special 1, Kickstarter Special 2 Tiersに出資した方のユニットから順に出荷され、2018年12月末までには全てのユーザーの手に渡るようになるそうなので、出資された方はメールボックスをチェックしてみてください。
