　Microsoft WindowsやXboxなどのアイコンを手掛け、現在はTwitterクライアント「Twitterrific for macOS/iOS」なども開発している米The Iconfactoryは現地時間2022年03月26日、macOSおよびiOSのクロスプラットフォームに対応したメモアプリ「Tot」のバージョン1.3をリリースしています。

　Tot for macOS/iOS v1.3ではAppleのショートカットアプリに対応し、クリップボードなどからTotのDots(ページ)にテキストを追加したり、Dotsからテキストを取得、文字カウント、切替などがショートカットで設定できるようになっています。

　また、macOSではCommand-Tab(App Switcher)のヘビーユーザーのために、「Smart Icons」という機能も追加されており、Tot for macOSの設定から[Control with]で「Smart Icons」を選択しておくと、

Tot for macOSが見えない、またはメニューバーポップアップ状態ではCommand-TabリストにTotのアイコンは表示されず、Totがメニューバーから切り離され、ウィンドウとしてデスクトップ上にある場合に限り、Command-Tabリストにアイコンが表示されるようになります。

• New “Control With” setting – Smart Icons:
  • Use Tot’s menu bar icon to display a popover window
  • Detaching the popover window shows Tot’s app icon in the Dock

  • Tot’s Dock icon disappears when its window is closed
• Improved window behavior when changing Dock and menu bar settings
