　ウェーデンのYubico社は現地時間2024年05月06日、同社のセキュリティキーYubiKeyシリーズに保存されたパスワードや2段階認証情報の確認、機能のON/OFF設定などを行うことができるユーティリティアプリYubico Authenticatorのメジャーアップデートとなる「Yubico Authenticator v7.0.0」リリースしたと発表しています。

　Yubico Authenticatorは2022年にリリースされた「Yubico Authenticator v6.0.0」からQtに変わりFlutterを採用し、WindowsとmacOS、Linux、そしてAndroidのクロスプラットフォームに対応していますが、Yubico Authenticator v7.0.0ではユーザーからのフィードバックによりレスポンシブUIが改善され、

プライベートと会社用など複数のYubikeyを所有するユーザー向けにセキュリティキーのデバイス情報にカラーラベルを設定できる様になったほか、デバイス情報がサポートするセキュリティ規格やファクトリーリセットなどのカスタマイズオプションを表示するホーム画面が追加されました。

　また、Yubico Authenticator v7.0.0では日本語とフランス語へのローカライズが行われたほか、保存されたパスキー(Passkeys)を表示するタブに検索フィルタリングが追加され、パスキーを使用したサービスやアカウントを検索できるようになり、ユーザー名や認証IDなどより多くの情報が表示されるようになっています。

　Yubico Authenticator v7.0.0では、この他、2024年05月下旬に発売が予定されていエンタープライズ向けのアップデートを含んだYubiKey 5.7ファームウェア搭載のYubiKeyをサポートしているそうなので、YubiKeyユーザーの方はアップデートしてみてください。
