　Twitter, Inc.は2019年01月、約3年ぶりに公式Twitterクライアント「TweetDeck for Mac」をv3.10へアップデートし、macOS 10.14 Mojaveやダークモードをサポートしましたが、現地時間2019年02月18日新たにWebViewを改善した「TweetDeck for Mac v3.11」をリリースしたと発表しています。

TweetDeck for Mac v3.11

• This release replaces the old web view implementation with a modern one based on WKWebView. Because of this change the minimum supported macOS version is now 10.10 (Yosemite).
• Memory usage has been significantly reduced.
• Fixes the ability to link Twitter accounts through Teams.
• Fixes a major crash that was impacting a lot of people. This should significantly improve the stability of the app.

　TweetDeck for Mac v3.11では、これまで利用していた古いWebViewをWKWebViewに置き換え、それに伴いシステム要件がWKWebViewを利用できる「OS X 10.10 Yosemite」以上に変更されメモリの使用率が大幅に改善されたほか、Teamsを通したTwitterアカウントへのリンクの不具合修正、多くのユーザーに影響していたクラッシュ問題が修正されているそうなので、ユーザーの方はアップデートしてみてください。
