画像やPDF、動画、Webサイトをピクチャ・イン・ピクチャ表示に出来るMac用ユーティリティ「Fenêtre」がリリースされています。詳細は以下から。
AppleはmacOS 10.12 Sierraに搭載されたSafari 10から動画コンテンツを別ウィンドウで開き、常に最前面に表示してくれる「ピクチャ・イン・ピクチャ(以下、PinP)」機能を導入していますが、フランスのソフトウェアエンジニアYoann Moinetさんが画像やPDF, Webサイトその他ドキュメントをPinP表示に出来るアプリ「Fenêtre」を新たに公開しています。

Fenêtreはメニューバー常駐型のアプリで、FenêtreメニューバーアイコンにドキュメントやURLをドラッグ&ドロップする事でドキュメントやWebサイトがPinPウィンドウに表示され、常にMacの最前面にドキュメントを表示しておくことが可能です。
Fenêtreには無料のFenêtre(無印)とFenêtre Proがあり、Fenêtre(無印)は移動可能なPinPウィンドウの表示だけですが、Fenêtre Proはマウスカーソルがマウスオーバーされると周辺のFenêtre PinPウィンドウが消える機能や、PinPウィンドウ内のリンクのクリック、表示履歴など以下の機能が利用可能で、11月23日までリリース記念として35%OFF(600円)セールを行っているので、興味のある方はまずFenêtre(無印)を利用してみて下さい。
