　カナダのセキュリティ企業AgileBitsは現地時間2025年10月14日、同社が開発するパスワード管理アプリ「1Password」のMac版を「1Password for Mac 8.11.14」へアップデートし、macOS 26 Tahoeでパフォーマンス問題を発生させるElectronフレームワークをアップデートしたと発表しています。

　macOS 26 Tahoeでは、Electronがアプリケーションウィンドウのシャドウを描写するAppleのプライベートAPIをオーバーライドしたことが原因でVS CodeなどElectron製アプリを起動しておくとWindowServerプロセスがGPU使用率を100%近くまで上昇させる不具合が発生し問題となっていますが、2022年にリリースしたバージョン8.0からElectronを利用し開発されている1Passwordも、この問題の影響を受けており、

最新の「1Password for Mac 8.11.14」では、Electronフレームワークが問題を修正した、Electron v37.6.1へアップデートされているので、ユーザーの方はmacOS 26 Tahoeにアップグレード前に1Passwordのアップデートをしておくことをおすすめします。
