　OracleがApple Silicon Mac上のArm版Linux/BSD仮想マシンで3Dアクセレーション機能の有効化を可能にした「VirtualBox v7.1.2」をリリースしています。詳細は以下から。

　Oracleは現地時間2024年09月09日、Apple Silicon Macを正式にサポートしArm版Linux＆BSD仮想マシンを構築できる仮想化ソフトウェア「VirtualBox v7.1.0」をリリースしましたが、09月26日付けで新たにHotfixとなる「VirtualBox v7.1.2」アップデートがリリースされています。

　VirtualBox v7.1.2では、マルチウィンドウのレイアウトと翻訳の修正、自動インストール機能を利用してインストールしたVMが削除されない問題、リモートディスプレイのセキュリティ方法を変更するオプションが追加され、Apple Silicon Mac版ではBetaラベルが削除されています。

　また、同バージョンではArmプラットフォームのVMで3Dアクセレーション機能を有効化(デフォルトでは無効)するオプションが追加され、3D関連の不具合が修正されているので、VirtualBox 7.1.0ユーザの方はアップデートしてみてください。
