　MacBookのバッテリー充電を充電率や温度で制御してくれるバッテリー管理アプリ「BatFi v2.0」がリリースされています。詳細は以下から。

　BatFiはポーランドでmacOS/iOSアプリを開発しているAdam Rozynskiさんが開発したMacBook Air/Pro用のバッテリー管理アプリで、AppleがiPhoneやiPad*、MacBookに導入しているバッテリーの充電率を80%で停止し、

*iPadのバッテリー管理機能「上限80%」は、最新のiPad Air (M2), iPad Pro (M4)以降でのみ利用できます。

機械学習を利用して利用する直前に充電率を100%まで上げる「バッテリー充電の最適化」機能をマニュアルで操作できるようにしてくれますが、現地時間2024年06月03日付けで、このBatFiの初のメジャーアップデートとなる「BatFi v2.0」がリリースされています。

　BatFi v2.0では、新たにバッテリー充電率の最小値(最大充電率)を50%まで引き下げることが可能になったほか、同じ[充電パネル]で、MacBookがスリープに入った際の充電率を自動的に80%に制限するオプションが利用できるようになっています。

　また、メニューバーには、AC Powerなど電源ソース、より正確なバッテリー温度の表示、バッテリー状態、過去12時間のバッテリー充電率、バッテリーを消費するCPU使用率の高いアプリを表示するオプションが追加されています。

　この他、BatFi v2.0では、設定にホットキーパネルが追加され、バッテリーを100%まで充電する、MacBookをバッテリー駆動に切り替える、バッテリーの充電を抑制する、充電のオーバーライドを停止するをホットキーで行えるようになり、バッテリー低下時に表示する通知の閾値を調製することも可能になりました。

　BatFi v2.0のシステム要件はmacOS 13 Ventura以降のmacOSを搭載したApple Silicon MacBook Air/Proで、価格は10ドルでGumroadで販売されていますが、Rozynskiさんは個人使用(Personal Use)ライセンスを無料(0ドル)で発行しており、

新たにGumroad経由で1ドルからチップを提供できるTipsパネルを追加しているので、アプリを試用して気に入った方はチップを送ってあげてください。
