　オープンソースのCPUエミュレータQEMUを利用し、x86_64やARM64、RISC-Vなど様々なアーキテクチャの仮想マシンを作成できる仮想化アプリ「UTM」を開発しているosyさんらは現地時間2020年12月09日、UTMをv2.0.14へアップデートし、Apple Silicon Macで発生していた複数の不具合を修正したと発表しています。

　UTM v2.0.14では、まず、Alexander Grafさんが開発[1, 2]しているAppleのHypervisorフレームワークパッチの最新バージョンとなるv4パッチを適用させたQEM v5.1.0を採用し、[Preference]で設定されていたHypervisorアクセレーションがONになっています。

　その他、UTM v2.0.13/14ではVMウィンドウのクローズ/オープン、リサイズで発生していた不具合やクラッシュの修正、Hypervisorでは現在のところ利用できないポーズボタンの無効化、Windows 10 RAMでのNVMe/USBデバイスインターフェイスのサポートなどが行われているので、ユーザーの方はチェックしてみてください。
