The Vergeや9to5Googleによると、太平洋時間2019年06月02日午後12時頃よりYouTubeやGmail、Google DriveなどGoogleが提供する複数のサービスが利用できなくなっているという報告が相次ぎ、The Vergeが確認したところGoogleは現在アメリカ東部でのネットワーク障害によりGoogle CloudやG Suite, YouTubeなど複数のサービスが利用できなくなっているとコメントしたそうです。
“We are experiencing high levels of network congestion in the eastern USA, affecting multiple services in Google Cloud, GSuite and YouTube,” says a Google spokesperson in a statement to The Verge.

Appleが2019年04月に明らかにしたとおり、AppleのiCloudサービスは自社サーバー以外にもAmazon Web ServicesやGoogle Cloud Platformなどのサードパティパートナーのサーバーを利用しているため、
Google Cloudの障害に伴い、iCloudでも数%のユーザーがiCloud BackupやBookmark/Tab同期、カレンダー、Drive、Mail、iWorkなどのWebアプリ(iCloud.com)が利用できなくなっているようなので、iCloudサービスにアクセスできない方はしばらく時間を置いてから試してみてください。

Googleは太平洋時間2019年06月02日16時頃にGoogle CloudおよびG Suite, YouTubeの障害が復旧したと発表し、それに伴いAppleのiCloudサービスのステータスも平常に戻っています。また、Googleはこの問題を調査し再発防止に努めるとコメントしてます。
The network congestion issue in eastern USA, affecting Google Cloud, G Suite, and YouTube has been resolved for all affected users as of 4:00pm US/Pacific.
