APFSのパージ可能領域の表示をサポートしたMac用ストレージユーティリティ「DisyDisk v4.5」がリリース。

　APFSのパージ可能領域のスキャンや隠し領域の表示をサポートしたMac用ストレージユーティリティ「DisyDisk v4.5」がリリースされています。詳細は以下から。

　Software Ambience Corp.は現地時間2018年03月25日、AppleのMac App Store Best of 2013を受賞しEssentialsアプリとして登録されているMacのストレージ内のファイルをサイズ別に円グラフとして可視化してくれるユーティリティアプリ「DaisyDisk」をv4.5へアップデートし、以下の機能をサポートしたと発表しています。

Extended support of the new Apple File System (APFS) on macOS High Sierra, in particular:

• You can now see the “purgeable space” – the disk space taken by system backups and caches, which cannot be scanned, but can now be identified inside the “hidden space”.
• And you can now reclaim that “purgeable space”.
• Added display of the “free space” in the right sidebar list, along with the estimation of available space, that is, “free + purgeable”.
• Added display of the space taken by “other volumes” in the same APFS container, inside the “hidden space”.

DaisyDisk v4.5

　DaisyDisk v4.5では新たにAppleの新しいファイルフォーマット「APFS」がストレージ上に保存しているローカル・スナップショットやシステムキャッシュなどストレージ容量が減ってくると解放されるパージ可能領域の表示が可能になっており、

Mac App Store版はSnadboxの関係上この領域をパージすることは出来ませんが、公式サイトで公開されているStand-Alone版は管理者権限を利用してAPFSのパージ可能領域を強制的にパージすることが可能になっています。
