　Muzei Live WallpaperはGoogleエンジニアのRoman Nurikさんが2014年に開発＆公開したオープンソースのAndroid用壁紙アプリで、ライセンスフリーやユーザーのフォトライブラリにある写真にBlurエフェクトなどをかけて壁紙に設定することが出来ますが、このMuzeiをベースにしたMac用壁紙アプリ「Muzei-macOS」がリリースされています。

Muzei is a live wallpaper that gently refreshes your home screen each day with famous works of art. It also recedes into the background, blurring and dimming artwork to keep your icons and widgets in the spotlight.

使い方

　Muzei-macOSを開発したのはインドのNaman Dwivediさんで、Muzei Live WallpaperをベースにメニューバーからMacの壁紙を簡単に変更できるよう作られています。

Muzei is a menu bar app that lets you use daily updated famous works of art as the wallpaper. Muzei also supports using top scoring images from Reddit as the wallpaper. Customisation options like blurring, dimming and specifying the subreddit are present.

　使い方はMuzei-macOSをGitHubかMac App Storeからダウンロードし起動、画像のソースはMuzei APIが提供している有名な画家の画像(毎日更新)かRedditから選択可能で、BlurやDimといったエフェクトをかけることが出来ます。
