　Pixelmator TeamがApp Store Best of 2011, 2014にも選出されたMac/iPad用ドローイングアプリ「Pixelmator」のiOS版をv2.1にアップデートしています。

　Pixelmator for iOS 2.1 ではiOS 9を正式にサポートし、iOS 9を搭載したiPadの新機能Split ViewやSlide Overを利用し、Pixelmatorと他のアプリを同時に利用できるようになっており、ファイルサイズ64MBまでの8K画像の編集、Spotlightでのアプリ内コンテンツの検索、写真アプリへの連携などが強化されています。

Pixelmator for iOS 2.1 update includes support for iOS 9, multitasking on iPad via Split View and Slide Over, 8K resolution support, Open in Place and Save to Photos features, and more.

　また、プレスリリースを受け取った9to5Macによると同社は11月に発売されるiPad ProおよびApple Pencilへの対応を約束しており、近いうちに新しい機能を含んだアップデートがされるようです。
