米OpenAIは現地時間2025年10月06日、同社のChatGPTアプリとパートナーサービスを接続し、ChatGPT内でサービスと対話できる「Apps in ChatGPT」のロールアウトをEU圏外のFree, Go, Plus, Proユーザー向けに開始したと発表しています。

OpenAIによると、このサービスは新たにプレビュー版を公開したApps SDKを利用し開発されており、最初のパートナーとしては、ホテル予約/旅行サイト「Booking.com」と「Expedia」、デザインツール「Canva」、「Figma」、オンライン学習サービス「Coursera」、音楽配信サービス「Spotify」、不動産サービス「Zillow」の7サービスがサポートされているそうで、
ユーザーは「Booking.com、東京でおすすめのホテルは？」「Spotify、今週のパーティー用にプレイリストを作って。」など、各サービスに呼びかけるようにプロンプトを作成するだけで、ChatGPTが各サービスに接続し、その回答を対話内に表示してくれるようになっています。
OpenAIのApps SDKはMCP(Model Context Protocol)ベースのオープンスタンダードで開発されており、現在はプレビュー版ですが開発者に公開され、今年後半にはアプリ(Apps in ChatGPT)の提出や審査を開始し、収益化の詳細に関しても今後情報を公開するそうなので、気になる方は公式サイトをチェックしてみてください。
