ライブ配信アプリOBS Studioを開発するOpen Broadcaster Software Projectは現地時間2023年02月03日、今年01月にリリースしたmacOSでネイティブHEVC＆ProResエンコーダーとiPhoneの超広角カメラを利用してデスク上を映し出すmacOS 13 Venturaの新機能「デスクビュー」をサポートした「OBS Studio v29.0」のHoftixとなる「OBS Studio v29.0.1」をリリースしたと発表しています。

OBS Studio v29.0.1 Hotfixでは、Windows環境でNVIDIAのオーディオエフェクトに関する不具合やウィンドウキャプチャのオプションが表示されない不具合などが修正され、macOSではOBSの仮想カメラを通して映像をZoomやGoogle Meetなどに送ると映像が赤くなってしまう不具合やプロパティがメインウィンドウの後ろに表示されてしまう不具合などが修正されています。

また、OBS Projectは現在もUpward Compressorを適用したオーディオが機能しなくなる不具合を追跡しており、Upward Compressorを利用している場合はフィルターを削除する/OBSを起動する度にフィルターを再設定し、問題の修正まで対処してほしいとコメントしています。
We are tracking an issue with the upward compressor, that is causing audio to stop working on sources with it applied. We recommend removing the filter for now, or recreating it each time OBS is launched. An update will be provided as soon as we have one!

OBS Studio v29.0.1 Hotfix
- Fixed the “NVIDIA AUDIO Effects SDK is outdated” message appearing on the noise reduction filter properties when the SDK wasn’t installed [notr1ch]
