　AppleがmacOS 11.0 Big SurやwatchOS 7のバリアブルフォントに対応したSan FranciscoおよびNew Yorkフォントをリリースしています。詳細は以下から。

　Appleは現地時間2020年06月21日より世界開発者会議(WWDC20)をオンラインで開催していますが、このWWDC20のセッション10104「Adopt the new look of macOS」ではデザインが刷新される次期「macOS 11.0 Big Sur」でmacOSのシステムフォント(例えばツールバー)にテキストスタイルが反映されることが発表されました。

Appleは現地時間2020年06月23日、SF(SF Pro)フォントをアップデートし、新たにmacOS 11.0 Big Surのバリアブルフォントとトラッキング値をカバーしたと発表しています。新しいSFフォントのバージョンはv16.0d9e1で、Appleの公式サイトからダウンロード可能となっており、このバリアブルフォントはwatchOS 7/tvOS 14もサポートしるそうなので、興味のある方はダウンロードしてみて下さい。

Beginning in macOS 11, the system provides the San Francisco fonts in the variable font format. This format combines different font styles together in one file, and supports interpolation between styles to create intermediate ones. With interpolation, typefaces can adapt to all sizes while appearing specifically designed for each size.
