WebブラウザベースのTorrentクライアントWebTorrent用ネイティブアプリ「WebTorrent Desktop」のBeta版がリリースされています。詳細は以下から。
WebTorrentはスタンフォード大学卒業生のFerossさんらが立ち上げたプロジェクトで、WebRTCやNode.jsといったWebベースの技術を利用してP2P接続を実現できる技術ですが、このWebTorrentのデスクトップアプリ「WebTorrent Desktop」のBeta版が新たにリリースされています。

WebTorrent Desktop is in beta. We think it’s pretty sweet, but we’re still working on it. Try it out and let us know what you think!
It’s also 100% open source. All the source code is on Github. If you run into a bug, please tell us about it by creating an issue.
WebTorrentはオープンソース（MITライセンス）で開発が進んでおり、DesktopアプリはElectron製でWindows, Mac, Linuxのクロスプラットフォームに対応。
サンプルのTorrentは公式サイトなどで公開されており、WebTorrentコマンドラインでは既にAirPlayやChromecastでの再生も可能になっているので、興味のある方は公式サイトなどにどうぞ。
