　SerifがmacOS 26 Tahoeでの不具合を修正しアカウントの作成やトライアル/ライセンス購入機能などを削除した「Affinity Designer、Photo、Publisher v2.6.5」をリリースしています。詳細は以下から。

　Canva傘下の英Serif Labsは現地時間2025年10月27日、10月30日の重大発表を前に、同社のデザインツールAffinity Photo, Designer, Publisher V2の最新バージョンとなる「Affinity v2.6.5」アップデートをリリースしています。

　Affinity v2.6.5では、発表されていた通り、Affinity V2シリーズの販売終了に合わせ、アプリからのアカウント作成やトライアルの開始、トライアル終了後のソフトウェア購入画面が削除されています。

Affinity v2.6.5へアップデートすると、Affinity IDアカウントの作成機能がなくなりますが、既にAffinity IDをお持ちでライセンスを購入されている方は引き続きサインインしてAffinity V2を使い続けることが出来ます。

　また、Affinity v2.6.5では、macOS 26 Tahoe環境で発生していたテキストフレームをリンクする/PDFファイルをドキュメントに配置するとアプリがクラッシュする不具合が修正されているそうなので、ユーザーの方はアップデートしてみてください。

Affinity v2.6.5のリリースノート

We have released a build to try and address a couple of issues found in 2.6.4 and also to make changes to stop the application offering any way to create an account or starting a trial or suggesting that the software can be bought at the end of the trial. Now that version 2.6 is no longer available to buy, the software has stopped offering any way purchase from within the trial.
The build also fixes a number of minor bugs including some for macOS Tahoe regarding regressions that are specific to that environment.
