　Appleは現地時間2023年10月12日、同社がハードウェアの修理サービスを終了した製品をまとめている「Obtaining service for your Apple product after an expired warranty」ページを更新し、2015年に販売を開始した「初代 Apple Watch (Apple Watch (第1世代))」をオブソリート製品に追加しています。

　Apple Watch (第1世代)は2014年09月に開催されたスペシャルイベント“Wish we could say more”でiPhone 6発表の後、One more thing…として紹介され、2015年04月に発売されました。

　Appleは2021年にApple Watch (第1世代) 38mm/48mmをビンテージ製品リストに追加していましたが、今回オブソリート製品に追加されたのはApple Watchに加え18金を採用したEditionやエルメスバンドを採用したHermes, Sport, Stainlessなど全てのモデルとなっています。

Apple Watch (第1世代)のwatchOSサポートはwatchOS 4で終了しています。
