　ReadKitシリーズは、ハンガリーWebinのBalazs Varkonyiさんが2013年から開発＆販売しているRSSリーダーで、同年のMac App Store Bestアプリにも選出されていますが、このRSSリーダーが「ReadKit 3.0」となり、macOSおよびiOS/iPadOS対応のユニバーサルアプリとして新規リリースされています。

　ReadKit v3.0 for Macは、Mac Catalystを利用して昨年リリースされた「ReadKit for iOS/iPadOS」をベースに開発されており、これに合わせてアイコンもBig Sur以降のmacOSに最適化され、

管理できるサービスもBazQuxやFeedbin、Feedly、 Feed Wrangler、Feverなど主要なRSSサービスに加え、Build-in RSSと、InstapaperやPocket、Wallabag、Pinboardなどの後で読むサービス、YouTubeのチャンネルも管理できるようになっています。

　また、ReadKit v3.0はマルチ・アカウントの設定が可能で、登録するRSS/後で読むサービスを各アカウントに振り分けられる他、イメージキャッシュを含むオフライン購読、テーマ、OPML読み込み/書き出し機能が実装されています。

　アプリは今回のアップデートで無料化され、マルチアカウントなどは月額240円、年額1,200円のPremiumサブスクリプションまたは4,900円のLifetime購入を行う必要がありますが、macOS、iOS/iPadOSアプリで1度購入すれ他のプラットフォームでも利用できるユニバーサル購入に対応し、7日間のトライアル期間も用意されているので、興味のある方は試してみてください。
