　Appleは現地時間2018年08月24日、「Human Interface Guidelines(以下、HIG)」のAirPlayに関する項目をアップデートし、”Media Playback”などAirPlayに関する項目を拡張したと発表しています。

　HIGのAirPlay項目に追加されたのはAVKitを利用してAirPlayストリーミング対応のアプリを開発する際の”Media Playback”やAirPlayアイコンに関するガイドで、Appleは昨日公開したAirMac用の新ファームウェアで2012年に発売され今年04月に販売を終了した「AirMac Express 802.11n (第2世代)」でAirPlay 2をサポートし、

米Sonoも昨日、アメリカとカナダで2018年12月01日よりAirPlay 2をサポートした「Sonos Amp」を発売すると発表しているので、AirPlayについては今後も様々な展開がされていきそうです。
