　米Synaptics傘下の英DisplayLinkは現地時間2025年09月12日、USBグラフィックデバイスなどに搭載されている同社のDisplayLinkチップ用ドライバーの最新バージョンとなる「DisplayLink Manager for Mac v14.0.0」をリリースしたと発表しています。

　DisplayLink Manager v14.0.0では、macOS 26 Tahoeをサポートした他、DisplayLink Managerアプリがシステム起動後に自動的に起動するようになり、Apple WatchでのMacのロック解除、f.luxアプリのサポート、DisplayPort接続のモニターが認識されない不具合等が修正されているそうです。

MacBook Air (M4)は内蔵ディスプレイと最大2台の外部ディスプレイをサポート

　最近はAppleがM4チップ搭載のMacBook Air (M4)で最大2台の6K@60Hz外部ディスプレイ接続をサポートしたことから、USBグラフィックアダプタの需要も減りつつあるようですが、AnkerはDisplayLinkチップを採用し8K@60Hz+4K@60Hz x2のトリプルディスプレイ出力が可能な「Anker Prime Docking Station (14-in-1, Triple Display, DisplayLink)」を発売すると発表しているので、今後さらに新製品が発売されるかもしれません。
