Appleは2022年01月下旬から、誤って上記のようなmacOS 12 MontereyをサポートしていないMacにも「macOS Montereyにアップグレード」の通知を送ってしまっているようです。

I have a late 2014 5K iMac, and have just received a pop-up notification from the App Store to upgrade to Monterey.
Now I know my machine was not on the supported machine list when Monterey came out, but thought this meant it had been added after further testing…
