　ルーマニアのKapeliは現地時間2019年12月03日、200以上のAPIドキュメントと100以上のチートシートを検索できるスニペット＆ドキュメントビューア・アプリ「Dash」をバージョン5.0へメジャーアップデートし、アプリ内の改善と検索機能をアップデートしたと発表しています。

Dash 5 (Paid Upgrade)
Dash 5 is a paid upgrade. The upgrade fee is $19.99. The upgrade can be purchased from within Dash 5, under Preferences → Purchase, after you add your existing Dash license. Anyone that purchased after the 1st of September 2019 gets to upgrade for free.

　Dash v5.0ではDocsetやスニペットの検索、ナビゲーションインターフェイスが刷新されたほか、ブラウザ(Docsetのレンダリング用)エンジンが既存の「WebView」から「WKWebView」に変更されレンダリングのパフォーマンスやメモリ使用率が大幅に改善されており、

スニペットツールも改善され、よく使うスニペットのブックマークや履歴が表示できるようになったほか、スニペットを完全に無効化してDashをドキュメントビューアとしてだけで利用することも可能になりました。

　Dash for Mac v5.0へは2019年09月01日以降にライセンスを購入した方は無償でアップデートできますが、それ以外の方は有償アップグレード(Paid Upgrade)で、アップグレード価格は19.99ドル(約2,440円)で新規ライセンスは29.99(約3,660円)となっていますが、公式サイトにはトライアル版も公開されているので、アップグレード/新規購入を検討されている方は利用してみてください。

1. New Search and Navigation Interface – The search and navigation interface was completely redesigned to be more intuitive and fast
