Appleは現地時間10月27日に「iTunes 12.5.2」を、10月31日に「iTunes 12.5.3(.16)」をリリースしましたが、TidBITSによると、Appleは現地時間11月3日頃にiTunes 12.5.3のバージョン違い「iTunes 12.5.3.17」をリリースしているそうです。

Appleはこれら全てのアプデートに同じリリースノートを付け、iTunes 12.5.3についてはバージョンも同じ表記になってしまっているため、混乱しているユーザー[1, 2, 3]もいるようですが、
iTunes 12.5.3.16では一部のMacでiTunesが起動後または一定の操作後にクラッシュしてしまう不具合が確認されているそうなので、iTunes 12.5.3.16を利用されている方はiTunes 12.5.3.17へアップデートすることをお勧めします。

Recent updated #iTunes 12.5.3 are completely unusable and keep crashing few minutes upon launch! Not even a downgrade option @AppleSupport ?
