去年11月にApple TVアプリのベータテスターを募集していたマルチメディアプレイヤー「VLC」が、Apple TVに対応した「VLC for Mobile」をApp Storeで公開しています。

Apple TV用のVLC for Mobileアプリは、iOSアプリと同様「ローカルネットワーク」、「リモート再生」、「ネットワークストリーム」に対応しており、設定項目では再生速度の変更やバックグラウンドオーディオ再生などの設定が可能です。
Apple TV用VLC for MobileアプリはtvOSのApp Storeで「VLC」と検索すれば表示されるので、気になる方は確認してみてください。
