Appleは日本時間2026年06月09日02時から世界開発者会議WWDC26の基調講演を行い、今年の秋にリリースを予定している「macOS 27 Golden Gate」や「iOS/iPadOS 27」を発表しましたが、その発表の中で次期macOS 27やiOS/iPadOS 27では検索機能が刷新されることが発表されました。

これにより、初期段階でSiri AIをサポートしない英語とアメリカ以外の言語と地域では、検索アセットのダウンロードに時間がかかり、その後、検索インデックスの再構築に取り掛かるため、AppleのSpotlightやメール、写真、メモなどApple製アプリで数時間に渡り検索機能のパフォーマンスが低下する可能性があるそうです。
