　Appleは現地時間2025年03月31日、今年02月からBeta版を公開し開発を進めていたmacOS 15.4を「macOS 15.4 Sequoia Build 24E248」として正式にリリースしたと発表しています。

This update introduces the ability to create Memory movies in Photos with Apple Intelligence, a new Sketch Style option in Image Playground, Mail Categorization, and enhancements to better organize and filter your library in Photos. This release also includes other features, bug fixes, and security updates for your Mac.

　macOS 15.4 Sequoiaでは、既に発表されていた通りApple M1チップ以降を搭載したMacで、AppleのパーソナルAI機能「Apple Intelligence」が日本語、フランス語、ドイツ語、イタリア語、ポルトガル語 (ブラジル)、スペイン語、韓国語、中国語 (簡体字)など多くの言語と地域で利用できるようになっています。

　また、macOS 15.4やiOS 18.4では絵文字にEmojis v16.0で制定された、目の下に入った顔や指紋、葉のない木、根菜、ハープ、シャベル、スプラッター、Flag:Sarkの8つの新しい絵文字が追加され、ポッドキャスト用のウィジェットの追加、ホームアプリでのMatter対応のロボット掃除機のサポートが行われています。

　一方、不具合修正としては一部の外部ディスプレイでNight Shiftがオフにならない不具合、ミュージックアプリでVoiceOver要素が誤った要素を読み上げる、点字ディスプレイで左右の矢印キー移動時に誤った行を表示する問題が修正され、256GB/512GBユニファイドメモリのM3 Ultraチップを搭載したMac Studio (2025)でのGPUメモリ割り当ての増加、Final Cut Proのトランスコード処理性能が向上し、
