　現在、米ラスベガスで開催されているCES 2019において、Sonyは8K液晶テレビBRAVIA Master Series「Z9G」および4K有機ELテレビ「A9G」、「X95G」などを発表していますが、Sonyのプレスリリースによると同社は今年後半にも以下のBRAVIAシリーズをAppleの「AirPay 2」と「HomeKit」に対応させるそうです。

AirPlay 2とHomeKit

　Appleは昨日、サードパーティメーカーのスマートTVが「AirPlay 2」や「HomeKit」をサポートし、iPhoneやMacから動画のミラーリングやコンテンツの再生、HomeKitを介してスマートデバイスを制御できるようになると発表し、Samsungは2018年製以降の同社のスマートTVがこれらをサポートすると発表しましたが、その後アメリカのVIZIOと韓国LG、そしてSonyが各社のスマートTVでAirPlay 2とHomeKitのサポートを表明しており、

メーカーによりサポート開始時期は分かれるようですが、VIZIOは2019年Q1からアメリカとカナダでAirPlay 2とHomeKitに対応したVIZIO SmartCast TVのBeta版を公開する予定で、LGは2019年モデルのAI TVラインナップが、Sonyは2019年後半にZ9G/A9G/X950GでAirPlay 2とHomeKitをサポートすると発表しています。
