SafariやChromeで新規タブを開く度にInstagramの画像を表示してくれる拡張機能「Flume New Tab」がリリース。Mac版クライアントも開発中。

　SafariやChromeで新規タブを開く度にInstagramの画像を表示してくれる拡張機能「Flume New Tab」がリリースされています。詳細は以下から。

　Flumeはドイツ人デザイナーのPeter AmendeさんとプログラマーのRafif Yaldaさんが開発中のSafari/Chromeに対応したブラウザ拡張機能で、ブラウザで新しいタブやウィンドウを開く度にInstagramの写真を表示してくれます。

Flume New Tab is a beautiful Instagram extension for your Safari & Chrome browser. Every time you open a new tab in Safari or Chrome, you will be presented with a photo from Instagram.

Features include:

• Beautiful design!
• Multiple feed options: Popular, your stream, profile, likes or a username or hashtag.
• Auto-refreshing (customisable intervals)
• Instantly like a photo.
• View tagged locations on photos.
• Open links directly in Flume for Mac (for Mac users only).

使い方

　拡張機能をFlumeからダウンロードしてインストール。Safariの環境設定から[機能拡張] > [Flume]を選択し、新規タブを開いた時に表示したい写真を”Popular”や”My Feed”, “Username”、タグなどで指定します。

　次にSafariの環境設定から[一般] > [新規ウィンドウを開く場合]／[新規タブを開く場合]を「空のページ」設定します。

Important! To ensure that Flume New Tab is always shown when opening new windows and tabs, open Safari Preferences > General and ensure that “New windows open with” and “New tabs open with” are set to “Empty page”

　後は新しいタブ／ウィンドウを開きInstagramアカウントで拡張機能を認証すれば写真が表示されます。（Chrome版はChromeウェブストアからインストールできます）

Mac版

　Flume Teamはブラウザ拡張機能だけでなく、現在Flume for Macも開発中だそうなので、興味がある方は公式サイトからニュースレター登録をどうぞ。
