　Snap for Macを開発＆公開したのはロシアでMacやWebアプリを開発しているEgor Kolesnikovさんで、macOSでWindowsのFancy Zonesのようなウィンドウ管理機能が欲しくなりSnapを開発したそうで、

Snapは[Fancy Zones]風のウィンドウマネージャー機能の他に、ウィンドウを画面端に持っていくことで様々なタイル表示が可能な[Snapping]機能、複数のウィンドウを重ならずに並べる[Autoarrange Windows]機能、そしてショートカットキーを利用したMapping機能を利用できるようになっています。
