米コロラド州のFirecore, LLC.は現地時間2021年12月20日、macOS、iOS/iPadOS, tvOS対応の動画プレイヤー「Infuse」シリーズのMac版を「Infuse v7.3」へアップデートし、iOS/tvOS版と同じく没入型3Dオーディオ「空間オーディオ (Spatial Audio)」をサポートしたと発表しています。
Infuse for Mac gets a huge injection of functionality with the addition of Spatial audio and AirPlay 2 support. Now Mac users can join in and enjoy the best possible sound when listening through other devices like AirPods, HomePods, or Apple TV.

Macでの空間オーディオは、現在のところmacOS 12 Monterey以降のApple Silicon搭載のMacとAirPods Pro/Max、および今年発売されたAirPods (第3世代)、Beats Fit Proでサポートされており、映画館のサウンドシステムのようなサラウンド・サウンドを体験できます。
また、同じくInfuse v7.3 for MacではAirPlay 2を利用したHomePodsへのストリーミング再生、Dolby Vision & HDR、Emby/Jellyfinサーバーとの同期が改善されているそうなので、ユーザーの方はアップデートしてみてください。
