　オープンソースのLinux用・動画プレイヤー「mpv/MPlayer」をSwiftでMacに移植しているIINAプロジェクトは現地時間2020年09月02日、次期macOS Big Surなどへの最適化を盛り込んだ「IINA for Mac v1.1.0」のBeta 1を新たに公開しています。

IINA for Mac v1.1の新機能

　IINA for Mac v1.1ではユーザーインターフェースが刷新される次期macOS Big Surに合わせて、オンスクリーンコントローラーのアイコンが刷新されたほか、サイドバーに「ハードウェアデコード」と「インターレース解除」のON/OFFトグルスイッチが追加。

　AppleはmacOS 10.14 Mojaveではデフォルトのスクリーンショット機能をアップデートし、iOSと同じようにフローティングウィンドウによるプレビューやマークアップ機能を追加しましたが、IINA v1.1でもCommand + Sで保存したスクリーンショットのプレビューがウィンドウ左上に表示され、そのスクリーンショットを削除/編集/フォルダを表示することが可能になっています。

　また、オンスクリーンコントローラーには秒以下の単位を表示することができるようになったほか、macOS 10.14 Mojaveと同じようにdGPUを優先使用するオプションが追加されています。

　IINA for Mac v1.1ではこの他、[ビデオ] → [クロップ]にカスタムサイズが追加できるようになり、プレイリスト中の曲のメタデータの表示、フルスクリーン表示時にファイル名の他に時刻とバッテリーレベルが表示されるようになり、数多くの不具合修正と改善が行われているので、興味のある方はBeta版を試してみてください。
