　9to5MacによるとAppleは本日、オンラインストアから「iPod nano」と「iPod shuffle」の公式Webページやリンクなどを一斉に削除したそうです。

Apple today quietly removed its iPod nano and iPod shuffle product pages from its website, indicating that the company could be moving towards officially discontinuing the products. The move makes the iPod touch the only iPod left on Apple’s website available for sale.

　その後、US TodayのEd BaigさんがAppleから「Appleは本日iPodのラインナップを整理し、2モデルのiPod touchを199ドルから販売していくとともに、iPod shuffleおよびiPod nanoの販売を終了しました。」という連絡があったことをTwitter上で公開しているので、まだiPod shuffleやnanoが必要な方はAppleのリテールストアや家電量販店の在庫を確保した方がよさそうです。
