　1Passwordシリーズを開発しているカナダAgileBits Inc.が、1Password for Mac/iOSのアップデートに続き、1Password for Androidをv6.0へメジャーアップデートしています。

You’ll find cleaner and more spacious layouts, a navigation drawer, toolbars, and umpteen other things, all focused on a simpler, clearer, more convenient user experience.

1Password for Android v6.0では新たにマテリアルデザインが採用され、ナビゲーションやツールバーなどがよりシンプルになっており、Google Nexus 5Xの「Nexus Imprint」などの指紋認証機能を利用し、1Passwordへのログインやアカウント、パスワードの表示が可能になっています。

1Password 6 can be unlocked with your fingerprint, using the sensor on your phone! One of my friends recently got a Google Nexus 5X, which has a neat little circle on the back of the phone that reads her fingerprint.

　この他、Wi-Fi同期のパフォーマンスや各カテゴリーのアイコンが刷新され、コラボレーションツール「1Password for Team」にも対応しているそうです。

OPVault

　また、昨年10月に脆弱性が発見されたAglie Keychaineフォーマット（AKF）のデータベースをより強固なOPVaultへ移行し、Dropboxを利用して同期する機能は現在開発中ということで、今回のアップデートでは見送られているそうです。
