　Macに接続されたWebカメラを利用して身だしなみをチェックできるミラーアプリ「Hand Mirror v4.0」がリリースされています。詳細は以下から。

　Hand MirrorはスティングサービスNetlifyでエンジニアを務めるRafael Condeさんが、新型コロナウイルスが流行した当時、リモート会議前に身だしなみをチェックできるよう、MacのFaceTimeカメラやiSightなどのWebカメラを利用しメニューバー下に自分の姿のを映し出せるミラーアプリですが、このHand Mirrorが約1半年ぶりのアップデートで「Hand Mirror v4.0」としてメジャーアップデートされています。

新たに、映し出された自分の姿のスナップ写真を撮れる「Snaps機能」が追加され、このスナップ写真にはマーカーでメモを書き込むことが可能で、写真はmacOSの写真ライブラリに保存し自分の姿の変化を見ることができるようになっています。

　Hand Mirror v4.0のシステム要件はmacOS 14.4 Sonoma以降のIntel/Apple Silicon Macで、アプリは引き続きMac App Storeで無料公開されていますが、Snaps機能は5回まで無料で、

それ以降のスナップ写真の撮影とミラーを独立したウィンドウとして表示するSmart Window、Window Masks、MacBook Air/Proのノッチをクリックしてミラーを表示するNotch Trigger、Web会議前のマイク音量のチェックを行えるMic Check、リアクションエフェクトなどの機能は買い切りのHand Mirror Plus (900円)でアンロックされるようになっているので、気になる方は無料版を試してみてください。

This is the biggest update to Hand Mirror since the first version, hope you have fun with it!

Snaps: New feature available for Hand Mirror Plus is the ability to take a picture, annotate it with a Marker, and save it to your Photo Library or File System. If you’re not subscribed you can still try it out for free, 5 snaps, on the house!
Complete Redesign: Now optimized for macOS Tahoe, every single pixel got a clean up and redesign.
New App Icon(s): New dynamic app icon, as well as a brand new Hand Mirror Plus icon that better reflects the new Snaps feature.
New “What’s New” view, that is made to look like the old CD boxes, you know, those round things? You DON’T?!
To address the number one issue that you folks write me about, Hand Mirror now tries to detect if the Menu Bar icon is not visible and suggest a way to fix it (say if you run out of space because of a notch or something).
The app should be a LOT snappier.
A LOT of bug fixes and long standing improvements that I finally got a chance to address
