Appleは日本時間2025年06月10日午前02時から、毎年恒例となった世界開発者会議(WWDC25)の基調講演を行い、次期macOS「macOS 26 Tahoe」を発表するとともに、2023年から公開しているWindowsゲームクリエイターがApple Silicon Macへゲームタイトルを移行するのを支援する「Game Porting Toolkit」を使用し、WindowsプラットフォームからMacへ移植が予定されているゲームのタイトルを発表しています。
今年後半から2026年にかけてApple Silicon Macへ移植されるゲームタイトルは、既に移植を表明していた「Cyberpunk 2077」や「EVE: Frontier」、「Harold Halibut」、「Sniper Elite 5」、「Hitman: World of Assassination」などで、

Appleは同時に、macOS 26 TahoeでグラフィックAPI「Metal」の最新バージョンでフレーム補間やノイズ除去をサポートする「Metal 4」を導入すると発表しています。
