10月09日付けで、この8BitDo Pro 3とUltimate 2 Bluetoothコントローラーにファームウェア2.00アップデートが提供され、Nintendo Switch 2をスリープから復帰させるShake-to-Wake機能が追加されています。
Ultimate Software V2 for Mac
8BitDo Pro 3とUltimate 2 Bluetoothコントローラーのファームウェアアップデートは、MacとWindows向けに公開されている「Ultimate Software V2」を利用し行うことが可能で、ファームウェア2.00アップデート後に、ペアリングモード中にSwitch 2のJoy-Con 2のHomeボタンを3秒間押し、8BitDoコントローラーとJoy-Con 2の両方がペアリングモード中にSwitch 2のコントローラー設定で[持ちかた/順序を変える]を選択し、8BitDo Pro 3をペアリングします。
Nintendo Switch 2のコントローラー設定
ペアリング方法はややこしいですが、以下の動画を参考にしてペアリングすると、Nintendo Switch 2 ProコントローラーでHomeボタンを押した時と同じように、8BitDo Pro 3とUltimate 2 Bluetoothコントローラーを起動し振るだけでNintendo Switch 2のスリープを解除/復帰させることができるようになります。
Shake-to-Wake機能は現在のところ8BitDo Pro 3とUltimate 2 Bluetoothコントローラーのみのサポートとなっており、ファームウェア2.00アップデートではSモードでのモーションコントロールの最適化やモバイルアプリとの接続をマニュアルアクティベーションに変更し、最新バージョンのUltimate Software V2はmacOSにも対応しているので、気になる方は公式サイトをチェックしてみてください。
