　Astro HQがカレンダーとの同期やApple Pencilに対応し、To-Do Listと時間ごとのスケジュールを1画面にまとめて表示できるiPad用プランナーアプリ「Rock Daily Planner」をリリースしています。詳細は以下から。

　元AppleのQuickTimeエンジニアで、現在はiPadを液タブ化できるAstropadシリーズを開発するAstro HQのMatt Rongeさんは現地時間2025年05月06日、iPad+Apple Pencil専用にデザインしたデイリープランナーアプリ「Rock Daily Planner」を新たにリリースしたと発表しています。

We built Rock Daily Planner because other apps felt cluttered — too many tabs, too much going on. So we stripped it down to just the essentials, to help you stay organized, calm, and in control.

　Mattさんは元AppleでObjective-CやUIKitの経験は豊富なものの、SwiftやSwiftUIに関しては知識がなかったため、AIコーディングエディタ「Cursor」を導入し、Rock Daily Plannerの開発をスタートしたそうで、結果は以下の通り、アプリの開発＆リリースまでできるようになったそうで、

Rock Daily PlannerアプリはカレンダーとTo-Do、タイムスケジュール、そしてApple Pencilで書き込めるノートを1画面にまとめたプランナーアプリで、プランナーテンプレート以外にもスケッチやジャーナル、Blankテンプレートが用意されています。

　Rock Daily Plannerのシステム要件はiPadOS 18.0以降のiPadで、動作確認はされていませんが一応macOS 15.0 Sequoia以降とApple M1チップ以降のMacでも動作し、アプリは無料でApp Storeに公開しているそうなので、iPadユーザーの方はチェックしてみてください。
