　AIを利用した検索エンジンPerplexityを開発するアメリカのスタートアップ企業Perplexity AI, Incは現地時間2024年10月02日、PerplexityのMac用クライアント「Perplexity for Mac」を10月15日にリリースするとしてMac App Storeで予約受付を開始していましたが、

現地時間10月15日付けで、このリリース予定日が10月24日(正式な日程は不明)に変更されています。PerplexityはPerplexity for Macのリリース延期理由について、特にコメントしていませんが、

Perplexityユーザーに対して早期アクセスのロールアウトが今後2週間以内に開始されるという趣旨のメールが届いていたので、Perplexity for Macは10月後半から11月前半にかけてリリースされるようです。
