AppleのVirtualizationフレームワークを利用した仮想化ソフトウェア「VirtualBuddy」がURLスキームやLinuxゲストのRosetta 2/コピー＆ペーストなどに対応しています。詳細は以下から。
VirtualBuddyはStatusBuddyやAirBuddyなどBuddyシリーズを販売するBuddy Software LTDのGuilherme Ramboさんが、AppleのVirtualizationフレームワーク(AVF)を利用して開発しているApple Silicon Mac用の仮想化ソフトウェアですが、このVirtualBuddyが最新の「VirtualBuddy v1.4」アップデートでURLスキームやLinuxゲストマシンの機能強化を行っています。
VirtualBuddy v1.4の新機能
VirtualBuddy v1.4では、URLスキーム“virtualbuddy://”が初期サポートされ、ユーザーが承認したターミナルやブラウザなどから仮想マシンのOpen, Boot, Stopが可能になっています。

また、中断された仮想マシンのインストールをライブラリ画面から開いてリストアできるようになったほか、仮想マシンウィンドウにマシンの起動や停止ボタンが追加され、macOS 13 Ventura以降のAVFでサポートされたIntel LinuxアプリをApple Silicon上のARM Linuxゲストマシンで動作させ「Rosetta 2 Linux binary」がサポートされています。
この他、VirtualBuddy v1.4ではLinuxゲストでコピー＆ペーストがサポートされ、スクリーンショットや開いたディレクトリの記憶、仮想マシンの再起動後にVirtualBuddyゲストアプリとの通信が停止する問題、セットアップやメモリリークが修正されているそうなので、ユーザーの方はアップデートしてみてください。
