　PassMark SoftwareがMacのCPUスコアを測定できる「PerformanceTest」をMac App Storeでリリースしています。詳細は以下から。

　CPUやGPUのベンチマーク比較サイト”cpubenchmark.net”を運営するオーストラリア・シドニーのPassMark Softwareは現地時間2021年03月31日、これまでWindowsやLinux、Android向けに提供してきたCPUベンチマークアプリ「PerformanceTest」のMac版となる「PerformanceTest for Mac v10.1」を新たにMac App Storeでリリースしたと発表しています。

With support for both Intel based and new Apple Silicon devices.

macOS System Benchmark Software – PassMark

　PerformanceTestはアプリを起動してワンクリックでMacのCPUスコアを測定可能で、ベンチマークはInteger Maths, Floating Point Maths, Prime Numbers, Sorting, Encryption, Compression, Single Thread, Physics, Extended Instructionsの9項目でチェックされ、

スコアはcpubenchmark.netに送り(任意)、他のCPUのベンチマークスコアと比較することができ、PerformanceTestはクロスプラットフォームに対応しているためIntelはもちろん、AMD RyzenとApple M1チップのスコアを比較することも可能になっているそうです。

Apple M1チップのスコアは現在数えるほどしか投稿されていませが、cpubenchmark.netの統計データではApple M1チップとIntel Core i9-9980HKが約14,700~15,000ポイントとなっているので、Geekbenchと比較してもそれほど誤った値ではないと思われます(ちなみにAMD Ryzen 5 3600は17,800ポイント)。

　PerformanceTest for Mac v10.1はリリース時点でIntelとApple SiliconのUniversal 2 Binaryに対応しており、Intel MacのCPUベンチマークはもちろんRosetta 2エミュレートで実行することもできますが、アプリのシステム要件はmacOS 11 Big Sur以上で、AdobeがPhotoshopの最小要件指標(2,000Ops/Sec)にしているPassMarkのGPUベンチマークには現在のところ対応していないようです。
