Magic Mouse用のMagic Zoomアプリを統合し、日本語などにローカライズしたMac用マウス・スクロール・ズームアプリ「Scroll to Zoom v2.0」がリリースされています。詳細は以下から。
Scroll to Zoomは中国でタイプ/グラフィックデザイナーをされているAlpha Argonさんが開発しているMac用のマウスユーティリティで、macOSのアクセシビリティ機能として搭載されているマウススクロールを利用したズーム機能をアプリに落とし込み、SafariやFirefox、Chromeなどのブラウザ、マップ、写真などのアプリで利用できるようにしてくれますが、このアプリのメジャーアップデートとなる「Scroll to Zoom v2.0」がリリースされています。
Scroll to Zoom v2.0では、それまでAppleのMagic Mouse用に提供されていた「Magic Zoom」アプリが統合され、Magic Mouseの場合ダブルタップ後にスクロールでズームイン/アウトができるようになっており、さらにアプリ全体で日本語を含むスペイン語、フランス語、ドイツ語、ロシア語へのローカライズが行われています。
また、サードパーティ製マウスではスクロールイベントをCommand + +キーまたはCommand + -キーに割り当てるオプション、Chromiumベースのアプリでズームイン/アウトの反応が遅れる問題に対して閾値を調整する[Chromiumアプリとして扱う]オプションが追加されています。
Scroll to Zoom v2.0のシステム要件はmacOS 10.13 High Sierra以降のIntel/Apple Silicon Macですが、アプリは署名＆公証を取得していないため、利用する際はGatekeeperをバイパスして利用して欲しいとコメントされています。

Scroll to Zoom 2.0 Release
- Integrated the formerly standalone Magic Zoom app. Its functionality is now available as an optional mode that can be used independently.
- Added Spanish, French, German, Russian, and Japanese UI localizations.
- Fixed a compatibility issue with Mos 4.0+ that could cause scrolling to stop working entirely.
- (New since Beta 2) Added per-app “command-based zoom”. For mice with a physical scroll wheel, each wheel step can now be converted into the standard ⌘+ and ⌘− command.
- (New since Beta 2) Fixed delayed zoom response in Chromium-based apps. The fix is enabled automatically for common browsers and can be enabled per app for other Chromium apps.
- (New since Beta 2) With smooth or inertial scrolling, zooming now continues after the trigger is released. The previous behavior can be restored in Advanced Settings.
