　NetNewsWireやMarsEditを開発したRanchero SoftwareがオープンソースのMac用RSSリーダー「Evergreen」を開発しているそうです。詳細は以下から。

　Ranchero SoftwareはMac/iOS対応のRSSリーダー「NetNewsWire」やブログエディタ「MarsEdit」の原型を開発し、現在はOmniGroupのエンジニアを務めるBrent&Sheila Simmonsご夫婦がワシントン州に設立したソフトウェア会社ですが、このRanchero Softwareが新しいMac用RSSリーダー「Evergreen」を開発しているそうです。

Evergreen is an open source, productivity-style feed reader for Macs.
It’s at a very early stage — we use it, but we don’t expect other people to use it yet.

Evergreen – Ranchero Software

　EvergreenはオープンソースのRSSリーダーで、現在はまだアイコンやアップデート機能なども実装されていない開発段階のバージョンとなっており、FeedBinやFeedlyとの同期機能は提供するもののiOSアプリや有料化は考えておらず、ソースコードはMITライセンスでGitHubのリポジトリに公開されているので、興味のある方はチェックしてみて下さい。
