　Appleは2026年06月、今年の秋にもリリースを予定している「macOS 27 Golden Gate」を発表するとともに、昨年発表したとおり、現在公開されてmacOS 26 TahoeがIntel Macをサポートする最後のmacOSで、macOS 27 Golden GateではIntel Macがサポートされない事を再確認しましたが、

これに伴い、AdobeはAdobe PremiereやAfter Effects, Media Encoder, Auditionなど同社のビデオ・オーディオアプリの次期メジャーアップデートとなるバージョン27.0で、Intel Macのサポートを終了するとユーザーに通知しています。

As we prepare for our upcoming version 27.0 release of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, and Audition, we are sharing an important update regarding Macintosh hardware compatibility.
Beginning with version 27.0, our video and audio applications on the Mac platform will require Apple silicon (M1 or later) processors. Intel-based Mac systems will no longer be supported for v27.0 and future updates.

　Adobe Community ManagerのFergusさんによると、Adobe Premiere v27.0などAdobeのビデオ・オーディオアプリの次期メジャーアップデートでは、Apple Silicon (M1以降)のMacが必要となり、Intel Macはサポートされなくなるそうで、Intel/Apple Silicon Macユーザーに対し以下のように通知しています。

What Macintosh Users Need to Know

• Intel Mac：Adobeアプリのバージョン26.xは今後もインストールして利用できます。バージョン26.x向けのセキュリティアップデートも通常のサポートライフサイクルに従って継続されますが、バージョン27.0へアップデートするには、Apple Silicon Macが必要です。
• Apple Silicon Mac：特に対応は必要ありません。通常どおりバージョン27.0へアップデートできます。

　Adobeアプリのバージョン27.0のリリース日は不明ですが、Adobeは今後Apple Silicon Macのみをサポートすることで、ビデオ・オーディオアプリ全体でAppleの最新のアーキテクチャとハードウェアアクセラレーションに注力でるようになるとコメントされているので、Adobeユーザーの方は今後ビデオ・オーディオアプリ以外でもApple Silicon Macが必須になると思われます。
