　Appleは現地時間2025年09月15日、Liquid Glassデザインを採用した「macOS 26 Tahoe」や「iOS/iPadOS 26」などを正式にリリースしましたが、これとは別に、重大なバグとセキュリティを修正した「iOS/iPadOS 18.7 (22H20)」をリリースしています。

このアップデートには重要なバグ修正とセキュリティアップデートが含まれ、すべてのユーザに推奨されます。

Appleが公開したセキュリティコンテンツによると、iOS/iPadOS 18.7ではCVEベースで12件の脆弱性が修正されており、中にはLaunchServicesの脆弱性により悪意のあるアプリがユーザーの許可なしにキーストロークを監視できてしまう不具合などが修正されているそうなので、

iPhone XR/XS、iPad (第7世代)ユーザーやiOS/iPadOS 26へのアップグレードを控えているユーザーの方は、こちらのアップデートを適用することをおすすめします。
