過去の今日撮影した写真や過去の同じ場所で撮影した写真を呼び起こしてくれるアプリ「Memoir」のMac用クライアントがリリース。

　Memoirは1年前に撮影した写真やこのレストランで最後に食べた料理など、iPhoneやMacに保存されている過去に撮影した写真から関連性の高い写真を呼び起こして表示してくれるTimehopの様なアプリです。

What were you doing exactly 1 year ago this moment? When did you last eat at this restaurant? Do you want the photos your best friend took of you at the beach that she never shared? Memoir helps you remember all of these memories and more, every single day.

　Veri, Inc.が2013年に設立されたサービスで、2014年11月には元Twitter社のRyan Sarver氏のベンチャーキャピタルRedpoint Venturesから550万ドルの資金を調達し、海外のApp Storeのレビューを見る限りアメリカを中心に(416 Ratings)ユーザー数を獲得しているようです。

Memoir, which launched last fall, recently raised $5.5 million in a round led by Ryan Sarver of Redpoint Ventures. Investors from its previous round of $1.2 million also participated, which includes Founder Collective, Box Group, Lerer Ventures and Thrive Capital.

使い方

　使い方は簡単で、Memoirアプリを起動してFaceBookアカウントかMemoirアカウントを作成してログイン。

　次に写真を保存しているアプリやフォルダを指定。

　最後に連携したい他のSNSを加えてセットアップは終了です。

　Memoirアプリはメニュバーに常駐し、初めのうちは何も表示されませんが、写真のライブラリ情報が同期され解析が終わるとメールが来て過去の「今日」や今いる「場所」の過去の思い出を表示してくれます。
