　PCalcは1992年に英グラスゴー大学の学生だったJames Thomsonさんが当時のMac(System 7)向けに開発した計算機アプリで、現在ではmacOSやiOS/iPadOSはもちろん、tvOS、visionOS向けアプリも公開されていますが、このPCalcがApple初の折りたたみ式iPhoneとなる「iPhone Duo」に対応しています。

　本日リリースされたPCalc v3.15ではiPhone Duoの他、iOS/iPadOS 27やwatchOS 27がサポートされ、単位変換と関数、定数の一覧にグリッド表示オプションが追加され、さらに単位変換に「Data Rate (データ転送速度)」変換が追加されています。

　PCalc v3.15のシステム要件はiOS/iPadOS 15以降のiPhone/iPadで、watchOS 9以降のApple Watch、visionOS 1.0以降のApple Visionで、価格は9.99ドル(1,500円)となっていますが、iPhone Duoをフルサポートした計算機アプリが欲しい方はチェックしてみて下さい。

• Added support for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and watchOS 27.
• Added support for iPhone Duo and other new devices.
• Added an optional grid view layout for the conversions, functions, and constants.
• Added a “Data Rate” section to the conversions.
• Powers are now worked out from the right, so 2 ^ 3 ^ 2 is 512.
• Operator precedence now follows mathematical convention more closely.
• Rounding and truncating are now consistent throughout the app.
• Fixed a problem with the percentage button.
• Fixed a problem with the “Last X” button.
• Fixed a crash with damaged settings files.
• Fixed a crash with speech when any “Enhanced” or “Premium” voices were installed.
• Fixed a variety of other small bugs and edge cases.
