　米シアトルのサードパーティメーカーPlugableは現地時間2024年01月08日、CES 2024の開催に合わせて、最大データ転送速度40GbpsのThunderbolt 4/USB4に対応した合計13ポート搭載のドッキングステーション「Plugable Thunderbolt 4 Dock for 4K Dual Monitors or Single 8K, 100W Laptop Charging (以下、TBT4-UD5)」を新たに発売すると発表しています。

At the heart of the TBT4-UD5 is its Dual 4K capability. Equipped with two HDMI ports, this docking station can drive dual 4K 60Hz displays simultaneously, offering a stunning visual experience. Perfect for a graphic designer working with high-resolution images, a trader watching the market, or someone who needs one screen for this and another screen for that.

Plugable’s TBT4-UD5 Is the “Do-It-All” Dock for Under 200 Bucks – Plugable

　TBT4-UD5はThunderbolt 4/USB4に対応したドッキングステーションで、前面には3.5mmオーディオジャック、MicroSD/SDカードリーダー、USB-A (5Gbps) x2、8K@30Hzディスプレイ出力に対応したThunderbolt 4 (40Gbps)、96W PDに対応したホスト接続用のUSB-Cポートを搭載。

　背面にはPower IN、HDMI 2.0仕様で4K@60Hz出力に対応したHDMIポート x2、USB-A (10Gbps) x2、USB-C (10Gbps) x1、Gigabit Ethernet x1ポートを搭載し、Mx Pro以上のApple Silicon Macでデュアル4K@60Hzまたはシングル8K@30Hzディスプレイ環境を構築することができます。

Apple M1, M2, M3 (無印)チップ搭載のMacBook Air/Proのディスプレイ出力は制限のため最大6K@60Hzで1台のみです。

　TBT4-UD5のシステム要件はmacOS 12 MontereyまたはWindows 10以降のThunderbolt 4/USB4対応Mac, Windows PCで、パッケージにはデータ転送速度40Gbps、長さ1m、最大240W EPR対応のThunderbolt 4ケーブルと135W電源アダプタが付属し、価格は199.95ドルとなっています。
